Our Team
Dave Amis
GM and Operations Director of Transparency, LLC is Dave Amis, the only Harvard MBA–former CEO–Texas PI on the planet. His experience as a venture capitalist, advisor to wealthy families, and law enforcement officer, means he has the right toolbox for any type of organizational problem from minor issues to major ones. Dave is also a CFE (certified fraud examiner) which puts him in the top 1% of licensed investigators for fraud-related investigations.
Dave has worked in turnaround consulting, led three firms as a CEO, been on multiple boards, and served both with the Colorado Rangers and a local Sheriff's Department. As Dave says, "We raise the professionalism of our client organizations first of all. But if there are any major issues that need addressing, we can do that too."
Most of Transparency’s team members remain covert for security reasons. There are two types of teams at Transparency.
Luke Sloan
Luke has nearly 20 years of experience in investigations, intelligence and security operations. He has served as a team leader with Marine reconnaissance and surveillance teams on multiple tours overseas. He is a licensed investigator, highly proficient in surveillance / counter-surveillance operations and specializes in intelligence and investigations. He is an entrepreneur and has owned and operated multiple businesses in various sectors. Luke received a BA from Texas A&M University with a focus on International Commerce and Counter-Terrorism and has spent years leading and conducting investigations and intelligence operations around the globe. Luke continues to serve corporations and private organizations as lead strategy consultant with a focus on delivering results with unparalleled professionalism.
The T-Team
The T-Team is made up of committed researchers, consultants, analysts, investigators, and CFE’s who work exclusively for Transparency. The original team was carefully chosen to be the best partner an organization could have. Our team combined has over 100 years of experience including as:

- FBI Agents, FLEO's and LEO's
- Management Consultants
- U.S. Marines, Airmen, and Soldiers
- Big Data Analysts
There is no organizational challenge that our T-Team cannot address.
(In order to join the T-Team, it's necessary to have a substantial background in either management consulting or investigations and to have also worked on at least 3 A-Teams.)
The A-Team
A-Teams are built for each engagement from a variety of specialists in our Texas-wide network. This allows us to bring any kind of expertise that is needed from accountants to criminal investigators to data analysts, management consultants, and more. For example, one recent A-Team had a former London Detective, two military analysts, two CFE’s, a librarian with two degrees, a former FBI agent, and a former USAF administrator. Our teams generally have 3-9 members and can be expanded as needed. This gives us the flexibility to serve our clients with whatever issues they may have.
Why We Do This
Texas MUDS and TEXAS HOA's are in trouble. Too many are not serving their constituents as well as they could. Too many desperately need a higher level of professionalism. Some require investigations to "clean up" after the last board of directors. The same applies to many other businesses and organizations.

THE NUMBERS UNIT
Olivia
Olivia is our Chief Number Cruncher. She has worked as a bookkeeper, in operations management for a national security firm, and for a family business.
The Numbers Unit
"It's always in the numbers" says Olivia. "We begin with the numbers, collecting and analyzing them, and before you know it, we are finishing with the numbers too."
For each Transparency Engagement, the "Unit" as they like to called, includes from 2-4 financial analysts, bookkeepers and accountants.

Communications
Maria
Maria is our Communications Officer and a Transparency financial analyst. She also serves as a Sergeant in the Air Force Reserves.
Communications Team
Maria leads the communications team including sharing, explaining, video-making, and more. "We want people to firmly understand our mission so they know where to find us when they need us" she says.

DATA & TECHNICAL TEAM
Jose
Jose is a data analyst, technician and computer expert who has also worked in undercover assignments for a well-known organization.
Technical Team
Jose leads the "Garage" Team which supports research both of acquired data (hard and electronic) as well as open source research.
